In her collections the designer of the brand Caroline Tannous gives rebirth to the 18th century French ballrooms’ woman seduction. It was an era of the “Art de la toilette” and female “coquetterie.”
But vintage inspiration shouldn’t be sounded like a “solo” for this brand’s women’s underwear designs. Rebirth is always something other, the closer it is to its source the further are its heights.
French woman is associated with seduction and romance, and these lingerie pieces are created to enhance it. The nostalgia appears in this collection with the help of high-waisted chiffon gowns, fabrics like silk, chiffon and Leavers lace and of course bodices with fitted corsets. The designer hasn’t forgotten the fashion symbols of the era: frills and ribbons are used throughout the collection making it even more adoring.
The designer of this women’s underwear line successfully used spring/summer trends like flowing see through fabrics, dramatic and unusual cuts, subtle rushes. The overall color palette of this collection is light and includes neutral like pastels and blues, but then the contrast of black and white is coming. The elegant fabrics bring a kind of softness to this collection but naughty pieces of rich detailing make it look bold and sexy.
It seems that in this ladies underwear collection details are becoming the source of inspiration: a certain cut, a way of tying a ribbon or just a sleeve may add an everlasting seduction to a woman.
This women’s underwear collection is something that makes you dream about something that’s absolutely new and extremely beautiful.
